Summer 2023 Commit to Submit Virtual Grant Writing Retreat: June 13, 2023

Dr. Jessi Smith will host a one day, virtual grant writing retreat on June 13, 2023 from 9 am - 4:30 pm. Join our expert presenters during this full day virtual bootcamp as we take a deep dive into the elements that are common to nearly all grant funders with additional information related to specific agencies. Get your questions answered about basics, budgets, broader impacts, and more—so you feel ready to commit to submit! New and experienced grant writers are welcome!

We will have agency-specific breakout rooms for discussions, so be sure to register for the event: https://web.cvent.com/event/1fd661f5-a293-42b7-bcac-d5355aa7f194/summary

Fall 2023 Grant Writing Bootcamp Session Dates Coming Soon!

Join Dr. Kelly McNear for the Grant Writing Bootcamp designed to help faculty develop a high-quality, well-planned, and successful grant proposal. You will learn best practices from grant-successful peers and have on-hand support from the Research Development Coordinator and grant support personnel.

Modeled after a successful bootcamp at Montana State University, this 5-session bootcamp will feature grant-specific topics, speakers who will share their thoughts and ideas with participants, and peer-review feedback sessions to get input on various aspects of your proposal. Peer-reviewed data from MSU showed that participants who attended bootcamp had greater success and more funding dollars than their non-participant counterparts.

If you'd like more information or have any questions, please reach out to Kelly at kmcnear@uccs.edu.
